Essential Print Management (EPM) was founded in 2007 by Jonathan Lewis. A third generation member of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers, Jonathan trained as a Lithographic Printer at the Bath Press, working on both sheet fed and web offset printing presses.
As part of his City and Guilds training he spent time in every department of the company before qualifying in 1990.

Wanting to expand his knowledge of magazine production and publishing he then joined Future Publishing and coordinated the production and printing of PC Plus magazine, at the time the company’s best selling monthly title.

Jonathan has also successfully worked in sales and business development roles for the British Printing Company, the Polestar Group and Quebecor World PLC. Securing and managing print production contracts across multiple sites in the UK and Europe for clients including Dennis Publishing, Haymarket Publishing, Future Publishing, Seven Publishing, the Early Learning Centre, the Stationery Office, Wilkinson Stores, Dell Computers, Draper Tools and HSS Tool Hire amongst many others.

Since its inception, EPM has assisted in the production of many high quality art books and photography publications: advising agencies, publishers, galleries, artists and photographers on how to achieve exceptional finished results. Our services include creative direction, format and material selection, estimating and budget reviews, selection of the most suited suppliers and providing production management to ensure the smooth running of all projects.
